Two men are charged in the sexual assault of a young girl at a North York daycare, and police believe there may be more victims.
The 12-year-old victim was allegedly assaulted at Benevenga Day Care on Apted Avenue, near Islington and Steeles avenues. Police said the girl had also been assaulted when she was between four and six years old by the same suspect as well as another man at the childcare centre when it was located on Husband Drive, in the same neighbourhood.
Armando Benevenga, 53, of Toronto is charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference, and one count each of sexual exploitation and assault.
Massimo Iaconetti, 38, of Toronto, is charged with single counts of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Investigators said there may be other victims and want to speak with parents or children who used the Benevenga Day Care at either location.
