Toronto Hydro had planned to host a discussion about a proposed anemometer in Lake Ontario, near the Scarborough Bluffs.
None of the people from Guildwood who are quoted in this story are in favour of testing the wind speeds off the Scarborough Bluffs. However, there are people in Guildwood who are in favour of testing to see if there is sufficient wind to make an environmentally sustainable energy project economically viable. I hope that future stories on this matter will indicate that there are Guildwood residents on both sides of this issue.
