Young Stars winner
The concert pairs the talents of young Canadians and residents of the former Soviet Union April 26 at the George Weston Recital Hall.
Five gifted and award-winning young musicians from the Soviet Union are Lena Prosolupova, Arseny Aristov, Narek Arutyunyan, Iosif Purits and Evgeny Skolchenkov, while the Canadian contingient includes Anastasia Rizikov, Julia Mirzoev and Anton Mamine.
In addition, 50 singers from TC3, the Toronto Children's Concert Choir and Performing Arts Company, and 65 young orchestral players will also perform at the 7 p.m. concert.
