Victim, 19, punched and scratched in incident

Police have arrested two teens and are looking for two others following a Thursday, Aug. 28, afternoon robbery near Finch and Warden avenues.

Police said the 19-year-old male victim was in a mall when a female came up to him and lured him outside around 12:30 p.m.

Two males and another female then stole the victim's cash and cellphone.

The victim was also threatened, punched, scratched and pushed.

The suspects fled the scene.

Two were arrested later in the day.

The arrested suspects, ages 15 and 16, have been charged with robbery and possessing property obtained by crime. One has also been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. The accused cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
